Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, password hash, username, profile image, verification status, and settings.
- Game data: virtual balances, wagers, outcomes, card collection, rewards, loans, game history, and fairness records.
- Support data: messages, complaint type, account email, device category, and submission time.
- Security data: session tokens, sign-in activity, moderation status, administrative audit records, and limited request diagnostics used to protect the service.
How We Use Data
We use this data to create and secure accounts, synchronize progress across devices, operate games and virtual balances, deliver verification and notification emails, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve Gamboland.
Gamboland currently uses virtual play coins and practice money only. They have no real-world value and cannot be withdrawn, traded, or redeemed for cash or goods.
Service Providers
We use IONOS for website and database hosting, Resend for transactional email, and the Pokémon TCG API for certain virtual card data. Providers receive only the data needed to perform their services. Gamboland is not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or the Pokémon TCG API.
Sharing and Sale
We do not sell personal data. Public game features may show a username, profile picture, play-coin leaderboard position, or live virtual pack-opening activity. Your email address and password are not displayed publicly.
Retention and Deletion
Account and game data are kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes the account and associated gameplay data from active systems. Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
Your Choices
You can update your username, profile picture, accessibility settings, and email-notification preference in Settings. Contact us to ask about your data or report a privacy concern.
