Identity & Biometric Data

1. What Is Collected

Depending on the verification workflow, Gamboland and Didit may collect or process:

• A government ID image and information extracted from it, including name, date of birth, document type, document number, issuing country, and expiration date.
• A selfie, face image, short video, or liveness capture.
• Measurements or templates derived from face geometry, face-match and liveness scores, anti-spoofing signals, warnings, and fraud indicators.
• Device, browser, IP, timestamp, session, and network-risk information.
• The verification decision, review history, and related audit records.

2. Purpose and Use

We use this information only to confirm identity and age 18+, compare the live user to the ID portrait, confirm a real person is present, prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts, protect users and Gamboland, resolve verification disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Identity or biometric information is not used to provide targeted advertising, determine creditworthiness, or infer unrelated personal characteristics.

3. Provider and Disclosure

Didit is Gamboland's identity-verification provider and generally processes verification data on Gamboland's instructions. Information may be disclosed between Gamboland and Didit for the purposes above, to their authorized service providers, when you direct it, or when legally required.

4. Retention and Destruction Schedule

Gamboland's policy is to retain biometric identifiers and biometric information only while needed for the original identity, age, account-security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purpose. We schedule permanent destruction when that purpose is satisfied or within three years of your last interaction with Gamboland, whichever occurs first. A shorter period controls where required by law.

Didit retention is controlled through Gamboland's provider settings and lawful instructions. Gamboland may keep a non-biometric record that verification occurred, the outcome, agreement version, consent time, and limited audit information for account security and legal compliance.

5. No Sale or Profit

Gamboland does not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric identifiers or biometric information. Didit states that it does not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric identifiers or biometric information.

6. Protection

Gamboland and its provider use safeguards designed for sensitive information, including encrypted transmission, access controls, audit records, and restricted use. Biometric information is protected using a standard of care at least as protective as the safeguards used for other confidential and sensitive information.

7. Consent and Withdrawal

By checking the identity-verification consent box and selecting Start Verification, you acknowledge this written notice and consent to the collection, capture, use, storage, processing, and disclosure described here. Gamboland records the notice version and time of consent.

You may decline or withdraw consent before completing verification, but Gamboland cannot activate a new account without confirming age and identity. To request access or deletion, use Settings → Delete Account or email [email protected].

8. Adults Only

Do not submit verification information if you are under 18. If we learn that a minor submitted identity or biometric information, we will investigate and request deletion as appropriate.
